Flexible Graphite Foil Description
Flexible Graphite Foil is a flexible sheet material produced through chemical treatment, high-temperature expansion, and calendering of high-purity natural flake graphite. It retains graphite’s inherent superior properties—high temperature resistance (suitable for long-term use in non-oxidizing environments from -200℃ to 3000℃), excellent thermal and electrical conductivity, and chemical stability—while offering unique flexibility and plasticity. It can conform to irregular surfaces and adapt to dynamic operating conditions. With self-lubricating, radiation-resistant, and corrosion-resistant characteristics, it is widely used in high-temperature gaskets, fuel cell bipolar plates, thermal interface materials for management systems, electromagnetic shielding components, and flexible heating elements.

FAQ
What is Flexible Graphite Foil?
It is a flexible sheet material made by compressing high-purity expanded graphite, combining graphite’s excellent thermal/electrical conductivity with good flexibility and moldability.
What temperature can it withstand?
It can operate long-term from -200℃ to 550℃ in air (non-oxidizing), and up to 3000℃ in inert atmospheres or vacuum.
Can it be cut with scissors or knives?
Yes, it is easily cut, stamped, or die-cut into complex shapes for convenient on-site installation.
Does it require adhesive?
Usually not. Its inherent compressibility and resilience allow it to seal by conforming to surface irregularities. Specific applications may use specialized adhesives.
How should it be stored?
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct exposure to moisture or strong oxidizing environments. Keep flat to prevent creasing.
